Domain Registration
Domain registration involves the registration of a domain name required for website hosting. The domain name must be renewed annually.
Additional domain names can be registered that point to the same website (known as aliases); registration of these additional domain names involves the same costs as the primary domain name.
The cost of domain name registration is determined by:
- Current exchange rate (for non “.co.za” domains)
- The super domain under which the domain name will be registered (“.co.za”;”.net”;”.com”;etc.)
- The duration for which the domain name will be registered (1, 2, 5 years)

- Your FTP server allows you to upload files to your web server (eg pages and graphics) or to make downloads available to your clients or staff.
